Instead of putting out lint from the drier for the birds, try putting small pieces of left over yard from your craft projects. Put these in one of the plastic berry boxes and tie to a branch of a tree there the birds can get to it. Or better still if you have a bird feeding station in your yard that has arms for hanging bird feeders, try putting one there. The holes in the plastic berry box will allow the yard to dry when it gets wet and the birds have easy access. I first tried this about 7 or 8 years ago and my family laughed at me. I had the last laugh when that fall I found 3 bird nests with pieces of yard woven into the twigs and grasses. 02-20-04
